Chris Dooly
A lifelong Storyteller
Chris Dooly is a professional Dungeon Master living in New York City, where he's taught hundreds of kids and adults to play the world's greatest roleplaying game. He is a member of Actors' Equity and holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from NYU. He draws on his training as an improviser, writer, and collaborator to bring energy and structure to every table he runs.
An avid fiction enthusiast, Chris was raised on high-fantasy novels and RPG videogames. He's played D&D since 2016, teaching himself to be a Dungeon Master after discovering how hard it was to break into the hobby. DMforAdventure was born from that experience — the desire to make TTRPGs like Dungeons & Dragons welcoming and easy to enter for everyone.
Along the way, Chris discovered his strengths in working with and supporting neurodiverse youth. Having navigated his own experiences as a neurodiverse person, he knows firsthand that patience and compassion are the foundation of real growth — in executive functioning mentoring and at the game table alike. That conviction is why every DMforAdventure program pairs great stories with genuine mentorship.
